Purple Star Campus - Military Family Resources
Welcome
Thank you for checking out the military resource page on Wallace Lake's website. If you are new to the area or to Wallace Lake, we want to welcome you. Our goal is to provide you the best transition possible and to welcome your family into the Wallace Lake Family. You will find several resources below that may be of use to you as a military-connected family and you can download each document.
Additionally, the Military & Family Life Counselor is available Monday through Friday to discuss any concerns or needs you have as a military-connected family and may be reached by calling the school.
Anchored4Life
Wallace Lake K-8 School realizes that changing duty stations can be stressful and offers students transitioning from military duty stations assistance in the form of a student transition team. The team consists of peer counselors with one of our students serving as the transition team coordinator. This team provides a military peer-support system as well as helping our new military students become familiar with our school during their first couple of weeks at WLK8. Please contact the WLK8 School Counselor, to start the process. Wallace Lake K-8 School reserves at least 5% of open enrollment seat for military students as defined in Section 1002.31, F.S.
