This is a reminder that Monday, January 5, 2026 will be our semester exam MAKEUP DAY for middle school students who missed exams or PM2 Progress Learning EOC assessments.
Important details:
Date: Monday, January 5, 2026
Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (please arrive promptly)
Location / Entry: Enter through the Media Center doors at 8:00 AM
Who should attend: Students who were absent for middle school exams and/or PM2 Progress Learning EOC assessments
Pickup: Students may be picked up as soon as they finish their exam
Note: This is a Teacher Planning Day

Our local Elks Lodge is sponsoring the Americanism Essay Contest. This contest is open to students currently enrolled in 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.
Plaques and monetary awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each grade level.
1st place: $1,000
2nd place: $500
3rd place: $250
Essays must be submitted to our local Elks Lodge no later than December 15. Please see the attached information for how to submit your student's essays.

Parents — be there with bells on and jingle all the way!
• Times by grade:
4th/5th: 7:30–8:00 AM
2nd/3rd: 8:15–8:45 AM
K/1st: 9:00–9:30 AM
• Parents must pre-register to bypass the sign-in line on Jingle Jog Day. Pre-registrations close 12/16 at 2 PM. Anyone who didn't register will need to check in at the front office the morning of the event. Teachers will be sending the link for sign up.
• Pre-registered parents can pick up their badges at the door the time of the event at their time slot.
Important: If you are checking out your student during the event, please do not bring backpacks or other belongings to school.
